Arroyo, celebrated yesterday, Thursday, January 16, the swearing-in and inauguration ceremonies in an emotional ceremony held at the Arroyo Boardwalk.
The oath was administered by the Honorable Waldemar Rivera Torres, judge of the Court of Appeals of Puerto Rico.
Prior to the protocolary acts, a religious service was held at the Luz de Vida Methodist Church, where blessing and wisdom were requested for the new period of municipal management. The activity was attended by important figures, including the mayors of the neighboring municipalities of Juncos, Vega Baja, Guayama, Salinas and Patillas, as well as prominent religious leaders of the Arroyo community.
The evening was also enriched with an artistic presentation by Plenéalo, who delighted those present with their energy, and by the renowned merengue singer Gisselle, who closed the night with her charisma and talent.
The Municipality of Arroyo deeply thanks all the citizens, leaders and public figures who came together to be part of this historic moment. The swearing-in marks the beginning of a new chapter for our town, guided by the commitment and vision of Mayor Eric Bachier Román.
