Synopsis: A single floating star reclaiming its freedom in a burning Caribbean Sea. An archipelago filled with adversity and exhaustion where everything seems to burn and melt. How do we remain believers in the face of the impossible? We take refuge in the
joseo, in the struggle and resilience of everyday life. This is how the KALOR exhibition came about, a solo show by artist Kevin Alexander that examines the contemporary Puerto Rican reality full of social, economic and political challenges. The exhibition consists of three acts in which, through the metaphor of heat, the daily stories of generations that live in a present full of strengths and resistances, and at the same time with an uncertain future, are collected.
